Qualifications:
SSLC / HSC and ITI
in Fitter / Electrician/ Welder trade.
Application Fee:
Candidate has to pay
Rs.150/- (Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates) Non-Refundable Demand Draft in
favour of SAIL – A/c Salem Steel Plant Payable at Salem and drawn on State Bank
of India, Salem Steel Plant Campus Branch.

Candidates must
apply for the posts through prescribed application format available along with
the notification. Fill the application neatly, attach photograph and attest
signature. Send it along with copies of all relevant testimonials and Crossed
DD in an envelope super scribing the name of post to be applied for, through
post, to the following address, Post Bag No.781, Circus Avenue Post Office,
Kolkata – 700 017, on or before 10-09-2012.
Period of Training :
Minimum period of
two years which can be extendable by another two years as per requirement.
Stipend : First years : Rs.6600/- pm ; Second year : Rs.7700/- pm Consolidated
Pay Scale after
Training : Rs.8630-3%-12080/-
Selection Procedure
: Written test, Interview and Medical examination
Travel Allowance :
SC/ST/PWD candidates called for interview shall be reimbursed travelling
expenses to the extent of 2nd class sleeper rail fare for the shortest on
production of proof of journey performed.
